Experienced Deputy Care Manager - we are a small care home for young adults with Autism and associated difficulties. In the past we worked for larger companies where the focus was on finance and profit and not on the needs of the residents. We therefore created a home that has the residents front and centre. Their well-being and general quality of life is paramount. Our staff are precious to us and we ensure they are valued and well-supported.
We are seeking a Deputy Manager who has a minimum of 4 years' experience in working with adults/children who have Autism/Learning Disabilities.
The position is full time but applicants wishing to work part time will be considered.
Diploma 3 desirable but Level 2 essential. Candidate must have good IT skills and be able to drive.
The role will require the member of staff to lead shifts, continue to develop the strong positive culture and encourage our young people to become as independent as possible.
There will be the opportunity for further training, gym membership and private medical insurance after a qualifying period. The home aims to provide a happy, calm environment; simulating a quirky, extended family.
