As a Bidfood Trunker/Shunter, you’ll be collecting stock from another depot and on return working with our night’s team loading our vehicles to making sure that they’re ready for a smooth departure for their onward deliveries! This means you’ll be handling ambient and chilled food products around our yards and on occasions out on the roads to pick up collections from our other Bidfood depots.
This role is an early evening time role which is Sunday to Thursday 4.30pm start - 45 hours per week.
You’ll carry out temperature checks throughout the night and help to load and unload vehicles where needed, meeting the highest of safety standards.
You’ll have a good mix of variety and familiarity in this role and ultimately whilst you’re working with our internal teams, you’ll have our customers at the heart of everything you do!
