The newly established, purpose-built, state-of-the-art Surgical Day Case Unit is seeking additional dedicated Band 6 professionals to join our management team.
This unit specializes in Day Case Surgery and surgical procedures requiring recovery over a 24- to 48-hour period. Due to the wide variety of surgeries performed, the role offers numerous opportunities for professional development and learning.
The Surgical Division is committed to maintaining a team of dedicated, highly skilled, and quality-focused professionals. Candidates should have a strong interest in the relevant specialties. The Band 6 Junior Sister will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within the ward or department. The post holder will provide support to more senior nursing colleagues and assume leadership responsibilities, serving as a role model and supporting team members.
The ideal candidate will be well-organized, self-motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interprofessional skills. Flexibility regarding working hours is essential.
