Whitechurch is looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced Barista to join our team.
We are a busy independent café, bar and restaurant in the centre of Durham. We are looking for someone who takes pride in making consistently great coffee, enjoys providing excellent customer service and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Preparing high quality coffees and hot drinks
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Taking orders and processing payments
- Maintaining a clean and organised coffee station
- Restocking milk, coffee, cups and other supplies
- Supporting the wider front of house team when required
- Following all food hygiene and health and safety procedures
What we are looking for
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred
- Confident using a commercial espresso machine
- Friendly, positive and professional attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
- Good attention to detail and a passion for great coffee
