Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning construction apartments over 4 cleans ready for handover to the client. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior cleaning experience or those looking to develop their skills within the cleaning industry. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, 522 apartments over 26 weeks using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained consistently.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities as needed.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards in busy environments.
- Driving license is preferred but not essential paid mileage if picking up/dropping off team mates.
- CSCS card preferred but not essential willingness to complete the cscs test before commencing work is a must.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
