We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server for the summer season, must be over 18 years of age to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A keen interest in upselling menu items to enhance guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is beneficial.
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills, capable of working well within a team environment.
