Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HR Manager to lead human resources functions within our hotel. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of employee management, from recruitment and onboarding to training, performance management, and compliance. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various hotel departments, utilizing HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms such as Workday, Taleo, or PeopleSoft.
- Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring new hires receive thorough orientation and training aligned with hotel standards and policies.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, mediating conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Supervise performance management programs, including evaluations, goal setting, and professional development initiatives to enhance team productivity.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, improve workforce planning, and support strategic decision-making through detailed reports and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and hotel policies by conducting regular audits and training sessions.
Skills
- Extensive experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, or PeopleSoft for data management and reporting.
- Proficiency in ATS tools to streamline recruitment processes effectively.
- Strong management skills with proven success supervising teams within human resources or hospitality settings.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with staff at all levels clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Knowledge of Workday, Taleo, Human Resources best practices, and compliance standards relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Strong data analysis skills for interpreting HR metrics and making informed decisions.
