Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our small family run garage. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles . Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to disassemble, repair, or replace parts as needed
- Be able to replace cam belts, clutches
- Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each vehicle serviced or repairedSkills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other repair tools
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues effectively
- Experience with equipment repair, routine maintenance, and preventive servicing
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance needs

Pay: Up to £39,000.00 per year
