Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Architect to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural concepts, producing detailed drawings, and overseeing project execution from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual designs and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and NavisWorks.
- Prepare comprehensive presentation materials employing Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch for client proposals.
- Coordinate with clients through negotiation to refine project requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on schedule.
- Oversee the technical aspects of design development including joinery details and construction methods.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors during the construction phase to ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with design specifications.
- Assist in preparing planning applications and liaising with local authorities for approvals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and sustainability practices to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in architecture or related fields with a portfolio demonstrating diverse project involvement.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, NavisWorks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and joinery techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management from concept through construction phases.
- Knowledge of building regulations and sustainable design principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
- Relevant professional qualifications or accreditation in architecture are preferred but not mandatory.
