We are committed to maintaining high standards in both product quality and service. As part of our growing team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Barista to join us.
Job Summary
The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive and efficient café environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
- Replenish stock and monitor inventory levels for coffee, milk, and related supplies.
- Assist with food preparation and general café duties when required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a café/hospitality environment preferred.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk steaming techniques is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food hygiene certificate (Level 2) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience handling cash and card transactions.
- Interest in coffee and willingness to learn new skills.
