Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious High Reach Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will operate high reach forklifts to efficiently handle materials, manage inventory, and support shipping and receiving operations. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse flow, accurate order fulfillment, and a safe working environment. Responsibilities
- Safely operate high reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Manage inventory by accurately stacking and retrieving items at various heights using specialized equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing shipments and verifying incoming stock against documentation
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment, performing basic mechanical repairs or reporting issues promptly
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean, safe, and efficient storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience operating high reach forklifts in a busy warehouse environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy lifting safety standards
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Prior experience in warehouse operations with a focus on load & unload activities is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
