Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for professionally installing Paint Protection Film (PPF) on a wide range of vehicles from our fully equipped workshop. This role offers the opportunity to work with premium vehicles, utilise specialist installation techniques, and consistently deliver exceptional workmanship. The position is ideal for someone with a passion for automotive detailing, precision, and achieving flawless finishes.
Duties
- Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) to a high standard on a variety of vehicles, including full vehicle wraps, front-end protection packages, and bespoke installations.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces through washing, decontamination, paint inspection, and panel preparation prior to installation.
- Accurately apply pre-cut and bulk PPF using industry-standard installation techniques.
- Use specialist tools and equipment to achieve a seamless, bubble-free finish.
- Inspect vehicles before and after installation to ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Identify and report any paint defects or issues that may affect installation quality.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Care for and maintain all installation tools and equipment.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules without compromising quality.
- Deliver excellent customer service when discussing completed work and aftercare requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience installing Paint Protection Film (PPF) to a professional standard.
- Strong understanding of vehicle paintwork, detailing, and surface preparation.
- Experience using specialist PPF installation tools, heat guns, squeegees, and precision cutting equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude, professional appearance, and commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
