Looking to Start a Career in Finance?
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Credit Controller to join our Finance team at Parts Town UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career, whether you're a school leaver, college leaver or looking for your first office-based finance role. Full training will be provided, so no previous credit control experience is required.
You'll work alongside an experienced Credit Control team, learning how to manage customer accounts, support payment collection activities and build valuable finance and customer service skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments
- Supporting customer account management activities
- Assisting with payment allocation and account reconciliations
- Helping resolve customer account queries
- Maintaining accurate records and account information
- Supporting credit checks and new account setup
- Assisting with reporting and month-end activities
- Learning credit control processes and systems
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Good numeracy and written English skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Reliable, professional and team-focused approach
Previous experience in customer service, administration, finance or credit control would be beneficial but is not essential.

Working pattern; 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday (45 min. lunch) 38.75hrs per week
Pay: £21,862.75-£25,610.65 per year

- Cannock WS11: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
