Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a small but existing excellent team in a business that is thriving. We can offer this role as part-time or full-time and serve breakfast and evening meals to a high standard.
Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Experience with meal preparation across various cuisines is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience in serving or front-of-house duties is advantageous but not essential
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are preferred but not mandatory
