Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Half Term Children's Support Staff to provide engaging and supportive care during school holidays. The role involves supervising children, organising activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. Duties
- Supervising children during organised activities and free play sessions
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of educational and recreational activities in both English and French
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Supporting children's social development through positive interaction and encouragement
- Assisting with meal times, snack preparation, and maintaining cleanliness of activity areas
- Engaging children in creative, physical, and educational activities tailored to their age groups
- Communicating effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress or concerns
- Driving children to organised outings or activities when required
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, teaching, or similar roles is desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and behaviour management techniques
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience in driving children safely to various locations is advantageous
- Ability to organise engaging activities suitable for different age groups
- Warm, patient, and adaptable personality with excellent communication skills
Pay: £12.71 per hour
