Join Adept as a Senior Area Cleaning Supervisor as we are recruiting to fill the position on 40 hours per week contract.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Area Cleaning Supervisor your duties will include but not limited to:
- Planning and organising projects and contractual work with the management team- Adept
- Assist in delivering site audits, site visits, staff welfare checks and covering shifts if/when required
- Assist with transport of staff and equipment to sites/projects
- Communicating with Site Managers, customers and building occupiers
- Dusting, cleaning, and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning floors, toilets and rooms.
- Carry out cleaning duties relating to Builders cleans- Builders cleans, recleans and Sparkle Clean in houses and or commercial offices.- Clean and remove debris, paint, dust and materials from newly built or refurbished sites, ensuring spaces are safe, clean, and ready for use.
- Complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures including COSHH and RAMS that are related to carrying out cleaning tasks.
- Carrying out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment.
- Taking and handling special requests for clients or customers as required appropriately.
- Carefully handling and operating all cleaning machinery according to protocol
- Identifying and reporting all safety equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor or management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Area Supervisor Cleaning Experience
- Commercial Office Cleaning Experience
- Valid drivers license with no more than 6 points
- Professional Appearance: Must maintain a smart, professional and in uniform at all times on site.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with the team, contracts and customers.
- Health & Safety Awareness: A strong focus on Health & safety and risk management.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- At least 2 years experience as an Area Cleaning Supervisor.
- Valid drivers license with no more than 6 points.
- Basic computer & IT experience.
- Experience operating cleaning and specialist cleaning equipment.
- Sound knowledge of cleaning/Soft FM activities and customer service standards.
- Sound oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and self-management and organizational skill.
- Schedule: Monday - Sunday - Hours between 7:30-17:00
- Note: The job description may be varied from time to time by the Company to reflect changes in the post holder’s role and/or the needs of the business.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Experience:
