Job Introduction:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and high-quality electrical services across our portfolio. Working closely with operational teams, clients and stakeholders, you will ensure all maintenance, installations and electrical works are carried out to the highest standards while maintaining compliance with current legislation and industry regulations.
What You'll Do:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance activities

Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on electrical systems and equipment

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures

Conducting inspections, testing and certification where required

Supporting minor works, projects and installations across the contract portfolio

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation
-
Working collaboratively with operational teams and clients to ensure service excellence

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and energy efficiency

Ensuring all activities are delivered in line with Sodexo's safety, quality and compliance standards
What You'll Bring:
-
Recognised Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
-
18th Edition (BS 7671) Wiring Regulations certification (essential)
-
Experience working within a facilities management, maintenance or building services environment
-
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Knowledge of electrical compliance requirements and health & safety legislation
-
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
-
Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
-
Experience within healthcare, government, defence, education or other regulated environments
-
Knowledge of CAFM systems and digital reporting tools
