Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker
We are a compassionate and dedicated care provider delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults in their own homes. We are looking for caring, reliable, and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team and make a positive difference in people's lives.
The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to vulnerable adults with a variety of needs, enabling them to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within their own homes.
You will support individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, dementia, and other complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Supporting individuals with mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Assisting with medication administration and prompting.
- Supporting clients with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with household tasks and domestic duties.
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Mandatory Care Training certificates, including:
- Moving & Handling
- Medication Administration
- Safeguarding Adults
- Basic Life Support / First Aid
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Health & Safety
- Previous experience supporting vulnerable adults in a care setting.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities, or complex care needs.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Right to work in the UK.

Pay: £12.21-£12.80 per hour
