Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable operator with CPCS wheeled excavator (10t and above) with Lifting Ops to operate one of our rubber ducks whilst we carry out essential ongoing works primarily to hardstandings at Heathrow Airport. You would become part of a professional team of people who enjoy good relationships with each other, management, client and stakeholder teams.
An airside pass will not be required, however, the work is within a secure area and we will arrange the necessary passes on arrival. The works include breakout and excavation, lifting operations, loading and muck away, concrete placement.
The core working hours are 0700hrs to 1630hrs, Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Operate the machine safely, smoothly and efficiently within and between work areas on hardstandings
- Carry out daily inspections and operator maintenance of the equipment and report any issues promptly
- Follow the safe system of work and supervisor instruction at all times. Safety takes absolute priority
Experience
- Proven hands-on experience operating >10t wheeled excavators
- UK driving license
- Demonstrate a good understanding of behavioural safety
- Experience operating in a similar environment is desirable
