Tea and the Gang is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic people to join our growing events team.
We work at a range of exciting events including Newmarket Racecourse, rowing regattas at Thorpe Meadows, corporate catering events, and seasonal pop-ups.
This is flexible, event-based work ideal for people who enjoy hospitality, working in fast-paced environments, and being part of a fun, supportive team.
We are looking to hire 2–3 team members ASAP ahead of a busy summer events season.
The Role
You’ll be supporting our Event Manager Katie and the wider TATG team across a variety of catering and hospitality events.
Typical duties include:
- Serving tea, coffee, and food
- Operating coffee machines and barista equipment
- Supporting event setup and pack down
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
- Working as part of a team during busy events
Important Information
- Hours are flexible and based around event schedules
- Weekend availability is essential
- Some early starts may be required
- You must be able to travel to event locations
- Lynchwood Park, Peterborough will often be the meeting point before travelling to events together in company vehicles
This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible hospitality work alongside studies, freelance work, another part-time role, or someone who enjoys varied work environments.

- Barista experience preferred
- Hospitality or catering experience desirable
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ability to work well in busy event environments
