Our shift patterns are designed to promote an excellent work-life balance. Most full-time employees work an average of 10 sleepover shifts within a 28-day period.
Many of our team choose to work 48-hour shift patterns, typically completing five shift sets over a four-week period. This provides longer periods of rest and recovery between shifts, allowing staff to enjoy more quality time away from work.
We also recognise that one size does not fit all therfore, we offer flexibility to accommodate individual circumstances. Some colleagues prefer to work 24-hour shift patterns, while others choose 48-hour shifts, enabling them to find a working pattern that best suits their personal commitments and lifestyle.
Each working day at Common Thread will be different from the last. Your main responsibility will to be look after the wellbeing of our young people but your day-to-day tasks will change from going out on activities with young people, taking them to school or family contact etc. For further information please look at our application back on our website.
