Join our dedicated team as a Children's Residential Support Worker for a 3 bed girls home in St Helens ages 8, 12 &15.
The home has a GOOD Ofsted rating and all girls are settled and in education.
You would work 2 on 4 off
£13.50ph & £81 a sleep

Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans
- Foster positive relationships by communicating effectively and empathetically with children, colleagues, and external professionals
- Support children’s personal development by encouraging participation in educational activities, hobbies, and social interactions
- Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress, incidents, and care activities using IT systems designed for care documentation
- Drive company vehicles to transport children safely to school, appointments, or recreational activities when required
- Contribute to creating a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a residential setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and external agencies
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt approaches based on individual needs
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and completing documentation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or sleep-ins as required
- A caring attitude combined with resilience and patience when supporting vulnerable children
