Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a member of the bar staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Assist in managing stock levels and inventory, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or similar roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help others, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
