Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young children’s development, creating a safe and stimulating environment where they can explore, learn, and grow. Your leadership skills and childcare expertise will ensure that every child receives high-quality care and educational support, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills from an early age. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development across all areas including communication, social skills, and creativity
- Supervise children during daily routines such as playtime, mealtime, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Build strong relationships with children and their families through effective communication and regular updates on progress
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and behavior management within the nursery environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized learning plans that meet each child's unique needs and interests
- Support the onboarding of new staff members by sharing best practices and mentoring less experienced team members
- Maintain accurate records of children's development milestones, attendance, and other essential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience implementing child-centered activities that foster learning through play
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team to deliver exceptional care
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation or home visits

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
