- Ensure the home operates in full compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
- Take overall responsibility for quality, governance, compliance, budgets and operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care that enables residents to achieve their rehabilitation goals and maximise independence.
- Oversee care planning, clinical documentation and nursing records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with best practice.
- Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Drive innovation and service improvement, ensuring the home continues to meet the changing needs of individuals with complex neurological conditions.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external stakeholders to promote excellent outcomes and service reputation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager within a residential nursing or specialist care setting.
- Demonstrable experience of managing CQC-regulated services with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Experience leading organisational change or service development, ideally including service transitions.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
