Mr Smith's Parlour is a busy wine and cocktail bar in Hoylake.
We are looking for two reliable and experienced Catering Assistants / Cooks to join our team. The role involves food preparation and light cooking, working to clear specifications to ensure every dish is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard. There will be times when you will be working independently in the kitchen, so confidence, initiative, and previous kitchen experience are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and specifications
- Cook and present menu items to a high standard
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ensure the kitchen remains organised and well-stocked
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Work independently when required
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail
- High standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
