Multi-Skilled Tradesperson / Handyman

Vanguard Construction & Developments Ltd is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our growing team. The successful candidate must be reliable, able to work independently, and have experience carrying out high-quality property maintenance and repair works, with a strong background in timber sash window repairs.
Duties Include:
- Repair and restore traditional timber sash windows.
- Cut out and splice rotten timber sections.
- Replace sash cords, parting beads, staff beads, cills and window furniture.
- Ease, adjust and draught-proof sash windows.
- General carpentry (doors, skirting, architraves, boxing-in, etc.).
- Basic plumbing, decorating, patch plastering and general maintenance.
- Carry out responsive repairs and planned maintenance works.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson.
- Strong carpentry skills with experience repairing timber sash windows.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident driving a company van across London.
- Own hand tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Punctual, reliable and able to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
