We are looking to recruit a graduate from a top university, who wants a career in accountancy, to join our team.
Working for a large property group based in central London with over £4 billion of assets, the successful applicant will work within a team of twenty and be involved with many aspects of the Group’s finance function. As the role holder gains experience and knowledge, they will assist in the preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
The role offers a wide range of accounting experience in a friendly and professional environment with clear career progression and study support for the right person. There are six current employees in the team who started in this role. The successful candidate will likely be looking to grow into an accounting role and will want to learn and develop their accounting knowledge and experience whilst working.
We recognise that many recent graduates may have little or no relevant work experience; we are more interested in academic achievements, ambition and personality.
Essential education/experience/characteristics:
- Highly numerate, achieved good A level (or equivalent) grades and hold a university degree
- Experience in using Excel
- Friendly, confident, polite and smartly presented
- Motivated to become a qualified accountant within 3-5 years (probably ACCA)
Study support for accounting exams is offered (cost of course, books and course material, exam entry and 5 days per year off work for study).
We generally work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the remaining three days from home. We change this when new people join the team as they need to be in the office more during their first couple of weeks. Our team is diverse, with a broadly 50-50 male-female split and around half in their 20s or early 30s, many of whom are studying for their ACCA qualification or have recently completed it.
We are looking to hold interviews on Tuesday 15 September 2026 at our office in Covent Garden/Leicester Square. Virtual interviews are possible but not ideal. We will reimburse reasonable travel expenses.
