Role Overview:
As a Timber Window and Door Installer Mate/Labourer, you will assist our skilled installation team in the installation of timber windows and doors. You will help ensure that each project is completed to the highest standard, in a safe and timely manner. While previous experience is an advantage, we are willing to provide training to individuals with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of timber windows and doors on residential and commercial projects.
- Support the lead installer in preparing materials, tools, and work areas.
- Carry and move timber frames, glass, and other heavy materials.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the job site before, during, and after installations.
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in basic measurements and adjustments as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and demanding tasks.
- A keen interest in construction, carpentry, or joinery.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (preferred).
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Ability to commute to Haddenham, HP17 8ZD for 07.30 start.
