*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
* Shifts/Hours *
6am - 2pm / 2pm-10pm Rotating
*Responsibilities*
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts as required
- Perform tooling changes and adjustments
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Utilise hand tools for grinding and finishing tasks
*Experience*
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in sheet metal work
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various tasks
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Previous experience in laser cutting operations is desirable but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
