About the Role
This is a hands-on position inside a real grading operation, where you’ll be trained to professionally assess and grade trading cards to a high standard.
No prior grading experience is required. You’ll be trained internally by our lead grader, who brings experience from established grading operations in the United States, ensuring you learn industry-level standards from day one.
If you’ve handled cards, understand condition, and have a strong eye for detail — we can teach you the rest.
Alongside grading, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the office, helping keep operations smooth as we scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspecting and grading trading cards using professional tools (microscope, loupe, UV light, grading station)
- Identifying flaws such as whitening, edgewear, centering issues, print lines, and surface damage
- Applying grading standards consistently across submissions
- Assisting in the encapsulation (slabbing) process
- Using internal systems to log grades and track submissions
- Organising and handling inventory with care
- Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Supporting general office tasks (emails, spreadsheets, label printing, submission management)
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for trading cards (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, MTG, One Piece, Lorcana, etc.)
- A strong eye for detail and consistency
- Careful handling of valuable items
- Willingness to learn structured grading systems
- Basic computer skills (Google Sheets, Excel, email)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow processes
You Don’t Need Experience If You Have:
- A genuine interest in card condition and collecting
- Attention to detail (this is the most important trait)
- A willingness to be trained and improve
Bonus Points (Not Required)
- Previous grading or card shop experience
- Understanding of slabbed cards and grading companies
- Interest in collectibles, authentication, or tech (NFC, etc.)
- Content skills (TikTok, photography, social media)
What You’ll Get
