Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager for an immediate start, to oversee a construction project from start to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress against programme schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare site reports and maintain project documentation.
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Valid CSCS card.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
