Damada Group, based in East Kilbride, is a multi-disciplined contractor with expertise across Asbestos Removals, Demolition/Soft-Strip and Land Remediation services.
We are relied upon by a wide variety of professionals from contractors, loss adjusters, surveyors, engineers and other property professionals to provide a thorough and expert service, keeping safety and quality at the centre of all that we do.
As part of this service, and due to continued expansion and internal promotion, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Yard Operative/Driver to help us keep projects running smoothly across Scotland.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain stock levels and equipment conditions. Highlight and address any maintenance issues and inform Stores Supervisor / MD of any equipment requirements.
- Organise deliveries of plant and equipment to sites and ensure all in good working order
- Assist with site clearance activities, including the collection, segregation, and transportation of demolition waste to designated skips and recycling facilities.
- Collect/Deliver/Tow equipment to sites across Scotland
- Undertake duties in line with Supervisors recommendations, instructions, and company policy, and in accordance with client requirements
- Ensure Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) is inspected and maintained as required.
Essential Attributes:
- Must have Full drivers license
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Ability to recognise where and when duties arise and fulfil these requirements satisfactorily.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Effective interpersonal skills within a team environment

Would be advantageous if you had a Tow license.
