Service Adviser – Llanybydder Dealership
Cawdor is looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Service Adviser to join our Llanybydder dealership.
Reporting to and working closely with the Aftersales Manager, you will be an important point of contact for our customers throughout their service experience. This varied position also includes parts-related responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining customer service with administration and organisation.
Key responsibilities
As a Service Adviser, you will:
- Meet and greet customers, ensuring they feel welcome, comfortable and at ease.
- Establish customers’ requirements and accurately record the work needed.
- Ensure the appropriate technical resources are available for scheduled work.
- Manage the workshop diary and arrange service and repair bookings.
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles.
- Accurately prepare and process invoices for completed retail and internal work.
- Order and supply parts and accessories to internal departments, retail customers and trade customers.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and business partners.
- Identify opportunities to increase parts sales and support departmental profitability.
- Ensure warranty parts are labelled and handled in accordance with manufacturer procedures.
- Help the department deliver an efficient service and an excellent customer experience.
About you
Previous experience in a Service Adviser or similar automotive customer service role is desirable. The successful candidate will also have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, confident and professional manner.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
Working hours
This is a full-time position of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
