We are now seeking a committed and organised Wraparound Leader to take ownership of our Breakfast and
After School wraparound provision at Chudleigh Knighton Primary School.
Role Purpose
The Wraparound Leader will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and day-to-day management of a safe,
engaging, and high-quality wraparound provision. This includes leading both Breakfast Club and After School
Club, ensuring children are supported in a structured, positive, and enjoyable environment before and after the school day.
The role requires strong organisation, leadership, and communication skills, ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining Saints Southwest’s high standards of care, safeguarding, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a high-quality Breakfast Club and After School Club provision.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
- Plan and deliver a variety of structured activities, including sports, games, creative activities, and free play.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the provision, including registers, timings, and transitions.
- Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies are fully adhered to.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, school staff, and colleagues.
- Supervise and support any additional staff or assistants within the provision.
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding attendance, behaviour, and general updates.
- Ensure equipment is set up, maintained, and stored correctly.
- Represent Saints Southwest in a professional manner at all times.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or coaching environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage groups of children independently.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
- Commitment to safeguarding and creating safe environments for children.
- Ability to work within set hours before and after the school day.
- Enhanced DBS check
