Overview:
Unity Housing Support is a provider of supported housing services across Greater London. We are looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaner / Property Support Operative to support the unkeep and presentation of our properties.
This is a varied role that goes beyond standard cleaning duties. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across communal areas and individual units, carrying out end-of-tenancy cleans, and supporting wider property operations where required.
The role is primarily based out of our South London office (Morden area) and will involve travel across London.
Responsiblities:-
As a cleaner / Property Support Operative, your duties will include:
- Carrying out weekly cleaning of communal areas across multiple properties
- Cleaning individual units /rooms as required.
- Completing end of tenancy / void property deep cleans to a high standard.
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks meet company and local authority standards.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health & safety concerns identified during visits.
- Supporting with property inspections and providing condition feedback.
- Acting as a key holder, including providing access to contractors , staff, and tenants where required.
- Meeting with tenants on-site where necessary to facilitate access or resolve minor issues.
- Supporting the wider operations team with ad hoc duties as required.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring materials are used effectively.

- Have previous experience in cleaning residential or commercial properties.
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
- Take pride in delivering a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing daily requirements.
- Have good attention to detail
- Be confident interacting with tenants and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Be able to identify and report maintenance issues clearly.
- Have basic IT skills (for reporting and communication)

Requirements:
Essential:
- Full UK Driving License
- Access to your own vehicle
- Ability to travel across London
- Basic level of spoken and written English
Desirable:
- Experience in end of tenancy / deep cleaning.
- Experience working within housing or property environments.
- Basic knowledge of property maintenance reporting
