Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar photovoltaic systems on various sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met. Duties
- Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels and mounting systems according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure mounting structures, electrical components, and panels.
- Conduct electrical wiring and connections in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Carry out mechanical tasks including adjusting mounts, aligning panels, and ensuring proper system positioning.
- Inspect installed systems for quality assurance, safety compliance, and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with in the solar industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- An understanding of electrical systems related to solar technology.
- Experience working with electrical wiring.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driving licence preferred; willingness to travel between sites as required.
- Relevant certifications or training in solar instalations or construction are beneficial but not mandatory.
