PDL Marine Ltd is a Marine Fabrication and welding company, based in 42 Flathouse Road, Portsmouth UK. We specialise in Steel, Stainless Steel and aluminium welding and fabrication on a wide variety of defence, marine and commercial projects, we also design and manufacture aluminium and steel workboats, Powercats and landing craft
We are looking for fully skilled and experienced welders/fabricators/aluminium boat builders to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of aluminium workboats and landing craft, ship repair on HM Naval platforms and a variety of other works. The ideal candidates should have a strong attention to detail, be able to read and interpret drawings, and have experience with MIG and TIG welding of all metals and aluminium vessels. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.
The positions are available on PAYE, Self employed (through umbrella company) or Ltd company
Rate of Pay is between £23.00 and £30.00 per hour dependant on skill level, employment status (PAYE, SE, LTD) or contract length
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Be experienced in MIG and TIG welding of aluminium
- Be fully skilled and experianced in the use of hand tools
- Be able to produce good quality, tidy work
