About Us
Raga' Gelato is an award-winning artisan gelato producer based in Wembley, supplying premium restaurants, hotels, cafés and events across London. We're a small, fast-growing team that takes pride in quality, craftsmanship and reliability — and we're looking for someone equally hands-on to join us.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking driver who's also happy to get stuck into production work in our lab when not out on deliveries. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who likes to stay active and is comfortable switching between driving and kitchen/production tasks.
Main responsibilities:
- Daily deliveries to restaurants, cafés, hotels and event locations across London (and occasionally further afield)
- Safe loading/unloading of frozen stock, including manual handling into customer freezers
- Supporting the production team in the lab between deliveries — helping with gelato/sorbet production, packing, cleaning and general lab duties
- Maintaining the delivery vehicle (checks, cleanliness, basic care)
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
What we're looking for:
- Full, clean UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years (essential)
- Due to insurance requirements for the delivery vehicle, applicants must currently be 25 years of age or over
- Previous driving/delivery experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit, with the ability to carry out manual handling (lifting/carrying tubs of stock) — reasonable adjustments will be considered where possible
- Comfortable working in a food production environment
- Willing to learn production tasks — no gelato experience necessary, full training given
- Good spoken English required, for communicating with clients and following food safety procedures
- Italian language skills preferred, but not essential
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
