CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading globalprovider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We arerecruiting a Contract Supervisor to join the team located in London .
As ContractSupervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Provide leadership, supervision anddevelopment of team members on the contract’s.
- To ensure M&E Reactive and extra worksjobs are completed on time and to the right quality using direct labour teamand approved subcontractors. Ensuring the multiple stakeholders on the site arekept updated at all times.
- To ensure technical support is given to allengineers & the leadership team in connection to all reactive works, and toassist in co-ordinating billable/minor works that delivers against time andbudget requirements while meeting or exceed client expectations.
KeyResponsibilities
- Ensureengineers are working productively completing reactive jobs on site. ProvidingTechnical Support where needed. Organise and plan engineers on site to ensurethey are working proactively.
- Drivingthe productivity of the engineers on site to ensure they are reducing theiropen jobs to an acceptable standard.
- Havinga knowledge of the open job on site and completing high profile jobs within anacceptable time period.
- Completingregular meetings with the engineers, to include toolbox talks, risk assessmentsand general communication.
- Callin subcontractors where needed to complete reactive jobs.
- Reviewand approve all rams for reactive works, ensuring working safely.
- Auditdirect labour and subcontractor works to ensure quality of work and safety ofworking practise.
- Raisingand follow through of permits for high risk activities including hot works,excavation etc.
- Assistingthe Contract manager in completed extra works projects
- Workingalongside compliance team to run operation
- Workingalongside other areas of team to provide assistance and guidance where needed
- Answerthe hatch when needed to sign in contractors including giving inductions
- Beingpart of a duty manager rosta every 6 weeks, dealing with escalations on siteout of working hours.
- Beavailable out of hours on occasion to deal with escalations on site
- Attendcity centre venues on occasion to assist in workload
- Sendout regular updates to multiple stakeholders on site updating on status of jobs
- Liaisingwith helpdesk to give updates on jobs
- Travelaround site during the day attending jobs and updating multiple stakeholders
- Dealingwith multiple jobs at a time in a professional manor whilst providing goodcommunication
- Ableto work on the move and multi task.
- Planin Rosta with PPM supervisor to ensure all events and exhibitions are coveredin the month
- Toidentify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety,commercial or otherwise) associated with reactive operations.
- Assistcontract support and Contract Manager in administering the reactive and Extraworks.
- Ensurecompliance with CBRE policies and procedures.
- Workingwith other CBRE engineers and AP’s on other sites to ensure the collaborativedevelopment of the contract and company.
- Workingwith the other supervisors & Contract Manager to ensure appropriatecontrol/monitoring systems PPM, CM & Re-active works are used/shared toensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
- Promotingand maintaining the core Values of CBRE.
- Deliveringeffective business communication through advice, review, leadership and directcontribution to tool box talks, briefings, correspondence, and ad-hoc reportingas appropriate.
