About Us
Simply Logistics is a growing same-day courier company operating a fleet of commercial vehicles across the UK. We're looking for a reliable and conscientious person to take ownership of keeping our fleet clean, presentable and road-ready each week.
This role is particularly well suited to students, college leavers, university students, apprentices or anyone looking to earn extra money at the weekend. We welcome applications from people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Role
You'll be responsible for looking after our fleet of five vans every Sunday. We expect the work to take around 5 hours, and you can choose your own start time as long as everything is completed before 4:00 pm.
This is an important role within the business, helping ensure our vehicles are clean, safe and ready for the week ahead.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean all company vans inside and out
- Record the mileage of each vehicle
- Check tyre condition and tyre pressures
- Check engine oil, coolant and screen wash levels
- Check and top up screen wash if required
- Report any damage, warning lights or maintenance issues
- Ensure each vehicle is clean, tidy and presentable
- Keep simple vehicle inspection records
