We want to host more poetry dinners, writing workshops, open sessions - gatherings where our community comes off the page or the radio frequency and becomes real. Mainly in person, open to online. You'll help make them happen: find spaces, invite people, figure out what a good evening feels like.
What you'd do
- Plan and coordinate events from idea to execution
- Find and secure spaces (physical or digital)
- Invite participants, manage RSVPs, handle logistics
- Shape the atmosphere - what makes people want to stay and talk

~6 hrs/month, more during event prep

- You've organized something before, even something small
- You like being around people and making them feel welcome
- You can handle chaos without becoming chaotic yourself
- You've hosted a dinner, a reading, or a workshop and know the difference between a full room and a room that actually talks

WORM is an artist-driven institution devoted to the development, promotion and staging of alternative cultural talent. Unveiling the Soul is a radio show on RADIO WORM, built by a small collective of volunteers who care about literature, poetry, music, contemporary art, and community. We're looking for collaborators who want to help grow the show, the archive, and everything around it - behind the mic as much as in front of it.
The role is remote, though it can be fun to have you in the studio sometimes.
