Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver prescription medications and healthcare supplies to customers’ homes and designated locations.
- Verify delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness before departure.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules promptly.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation for all shipments.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or safety issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during all driving activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably within pharmacy or healthcare settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is a plus.
- Experience in commercial driving with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling medication boxes or supplies safely.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling and storage procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Comfortable with long periods of driving and navigating various routes efficiently.
