Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic Volunteer Coaches to lead, support, and inspire our adult SEN players. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will directly contribute to making football accessible, safe, and enjoyable for individuals with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, safe, and adaptable training sessions every Saturday morning tailored to the needs of SEN players. Support players in developing physical skills, teamwork, and social confidence at their own pace. Effectively and empathetically communicate with players, parents, carers, and club officials. Ensure strict adherence to club safeguarding and inclusivity policies.
What We Are Looking For:
A patient, empathetic, and highly encouraging demeanor. Consistent availability for Saturday morning sessions.
Previous experience working with SEN individuals (in sports, education, or care) is highly valued, but not essential—the right attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
Valid FA Coaching Badges, First Aid, and Safeguarding certifications are a plus; we are fully prepared to support and fund the right candidates in gaining these qualifications.
Note: All successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check (arranged by the club).
