We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our busy Bellshill depot on a full-time temp-to-perm basis. Working for MMID, part of a leading international dairy business, you'll be operating a modern, well-maintained fleet and carrying out trunking and RDC/NDC deliveries.
Immediate starts available for successful candidates, with permanent contracts offered following a successful temporary period.
- 5on2off over the weekend 10:00 start
- Monday to Friday: £17.30 per hour
- Overtime after 47.5 hours: £19.46 per hour
- Saturday: £19.46 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.95 per hour
- Monday to Friday: £19.77 per hour
- Overtime after 47.5 hours: £21.92 per hour
- Saturday: £21.92 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £28.41 per hour
✅ Only 30 minutes break deducted per shift
- Trunking and store deliveries to RDCs and NDCs
- Vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Vehicle preparation and refuelling
- Working in line with WTD and EU Drivers' Hours regulations
- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
- Flexible and willing to work weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong understanding of driver compliance and road transport regulations
