Duties
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and process donations efficiently
- Organize and display donated items attractively to encourage sales
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the shop floor and storage areas
- Assist with stock management, including sorting, pricing, and shelving donations
- Provide administrative support such as recording donations or updating inventory records when needed
- Promote awareness of the charity’s mission and upcoming events to engage community support
Experience
- Previous customer service experience is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm and a friendly attitude are most important
- Basic IT skills for operating cash registers or updating simple records
- Administrative experience helpful for managing donations or stock logs
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with a positive outlook
- Willingness to learn about the charity’s goals and contribute proactively
