Chef de Partie — The Crown, Martley
The Crown is a Two AA Rosette country pub, restaurant, café and B&B, and we're on a clear trajectory to become a genuine landmark for food and hospitality in Worcestershire — somewhere people travel for, not just drop into. Holding and building on our two rosettes means consistency at every service, real respect for seasonal and local produce, and dishes that are ambitious but honest. That's the standard we're hiring into.
The Chef de Partie is central to that. You'll run your own section with full ownership — prep, mise en place, and consistent plating to the kitchen's standard through service — while supporting the wider brigade and helping bring on more junior chefs. Because we operate across several offers (restaurant, café lunch, afternoon tea, B&B breakfasts and events), the right CDP is someone who thrives on variety and can hold quality across different styles of service without dropping a beat.
What we're really looking for is a chef who cares about the craft: someone who treats the herb garden and our local suppliers as part of the menu, takes pride in a clean, well-run section, and wants to grow with a kitchen that's going places. In return you get a serious platform — a team genuinely invested in great food, scope to develop, and a chance to help shape a destination as it steps up.
