Post Title: Manufacturing Operative

Reports to: Manufacturing Team Leader
Shift Pattern: 40 Hours Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 8am-6.30pm
Fixed term contract for three months
Aim:
Production of Made in Britain RPET cases including QA and Packing
Main Duties:
· Ensure work is completed efficiently; quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.
· Machine Operation: understand machine setup instructions and day to day operation with full training and that the SOP is adhered to.
· Monitor production machinery/equipment operation to detect problems.
· Liaise with machine manufacturers when issues arise. Highlight when faulty or in disrepair and ensure that they are kept in excellent condition
· Responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality control and ensure specifications and customer requirements are always met.
· Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
· Maintain, repair mechanical equipment Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment and maintaining the logbooks to this effect.
· Responsible for adjusting production equipment and set up of production equipment or machinery.
· Achieve top quality print.
· Achieve economic levels of output by planning ahead.
· Double check the order against our file records to ensure correct print details.
· Prioritise orders where necessary.
· Ensure products are good quality prior and after printing.
· Ensure that orders are accurate prior to despatch.
· Follow SOPs for all orders correctly.
· Ensure warehouse goals and targets are met.
· Maintain a high level of health and safety standards and keep working area clean and tidy.
· Pick and pack items based on specification requirements.
· Prepare products for Despatch and identify issues.
· Communicate any issues to Team leader or above.
· Work effectively with other departments to ensure orders are completed and despatched correctly.
· Receive deliveries and follow procedures in QC and putting stock on shelves.
· Highlight any stock issues immediately.
· Make sure that tasks are completed safely, and quality standards are adhered to.
· Ensure all company policies and procedures including health and safety are followed.
· Ensure PPE provided by the company is kept in good condition.
· Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
· Flexibility, the company may at times deem it necessary for you to work in another department to accommodate fluctuations in the business.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
