Join Our Nursery Family
We're a small, nurturing nursery set within a beautiful cottage, creating a genuine "home from home" environment for children, families, and our team. Warmth, kindness, positivity, and strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring every child—and every member of staff—feels valued and supported.
Our Baby Room provides a calm, loving, and stimulating space where secure attachments form the foundation for learning. We believe every child deserves the very best start in life, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and development through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
The Role
We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with babies and wants to be part of a supportive team that is committed to delivering exceptional care and education. - Help maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Promote children's wellbeing, confidence, and independence through responsive and nurturing care.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide the highest standards of care and education.
About You
You'll have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Experience working with babies or young children in an Early Years setting (preferred but not essential).
- A basic understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A warm, caring, and positive approach.
- A genuine passion for giving babies the very best start in life.
- A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within a supportive nursery team.
What We Offer
We believe looking after our team is just as important as looking after our children. That's why we offer:
- Choice of a 4 or 5-day working week.
- 22 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- An additional day's annual leave after five years' service.
- Your birthday off every year.
- 30% childcare discount.
