True Precision Engineering Ltd is seeking a CNC Programmer/operator to join our team. The successful candidate will work with our Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure the quality of our products.
Job Summary
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming and producing CNC parts using fanuc controls This position will also be responsible for inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications. The position requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming in general, experience of super alloys desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Programming CNC machines to produce parts that meet specifications using fanuc controls
- Inspecting and testing parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Operating CNC machines to produce parts that meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with existing programs and suggest improvements for new programs.
- Ensure that production areas are clean and organized at all times.
- Ensure that all production areas comply with safety regulations.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area by keeping shelves, cabinets, etc. organized; etc..
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
. Time served apprenticeship
· CNC programming experience
. CNC operator experience
. Fanuc programming
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.50-£18.50 per hour
